Reflections of a Crystal Energy Worker : What Gives my Work Meaning

The conclusion of a year and the arrival of a new lunar one naturally prompts a series of deep reflections. Underneath the creation of new plans and is a basic question that underlies it all: the purpose and significance of my work.

I ask myself: Does each crystal which I connect to its owner, no matter how small, effect enough positive change? Is it enough?

I look within and a deep voice inside me, the voice of my soul, answers quite simply “yes.” I look to the crystals themselves who sit serenely around me and they nod and concur.

Elaborating on this message, they transmit a single image: the spark in someone's eye when they see the crystal they will bring home. It's an intimate connection, one I've seen countless times including in my own.

Each crystal that is chosen is a result of an interactive process and a conscious connection with the crystals themselves. We act as merely as a medium and facilitator, all acting in service of the higher good, in service of the light. Crystals can be seen as a conduit of that light.

The higher vibrational energies of this force can induce a myriad of changes. We may feel a deep connection to the Universe and our higher selves. Heavier emotions like sadness, anger and anxiety can fall away, giving way to peace, joy, clarity and love. Blocks of resistance in the body can begin to flow again, helping us maintain a state of good health. Our ability to manifest may increase, allowing us to attract abundance and love into our lives. The potential of what crystals can do - work in ways even I cannot fathom (if connected to fully, the results may be out of my own imagination and therefore I must be careful not to place any thought limitations

Of all the potential changes that crystals can bring, the area I attach the most importance to is the change in our perspectives and thinking. Namely, connecting with the pervasive calm that is ever-present but sometimes buried deep within, and seeing our lives from a higher vantage point. We can better assess the true value and meaning of the material that makes up our lives in the context of our role in the Universe. This has the power to alter our reactions, decisions, and ultimately our entire life path. Manifestation is powerful, but self-knowledge and wisdom to realize what really matters, and therefore what we actually want to manifest is a more potent goal. This is also indicative of a true awakening.

Most clients will need some time at first to work with crystals to deal with basic energetic blockages or to meet their individual energetic needs. After the spark of initial connection with a crystal, all kinds of scenarios may come into place: light energy could accumulate slowly, fluctuate between weakness and strength, or suddenly become hidden only to reappear at the most unexpected of times. Although we cannot always determine what happens, so long as each crystal is handed to each customer, a spark of light is lit. Even is the spark sometimes feels small, seemingly insignificant, it is my belief and faith in the potential of this spark that gives my work meaning.

And so, to those who delight in the beauty and being of the crystals; to those who wish to connect with their higher selves to attract abundance into their lives; and last but not least to those who, in moments of darkness, detect a sparkle of hope pulsing from a crystal that ignites their own flame within them, you give my life meaning and I thank you.
